The Mayflower Compact Postcard

On November 11, 1620: "Land Ho!" The quiet and calm daybreak was interrupted by the excited passengers joyously trying to get a glimpse of the newly-sighted land in the morning light. At 6:55, the sun began to peer over the east horizon; the day was calm, and the wind was fair. Christopher Jones and his pilots identified the land they were approaching as Cape Cod.

November 11, 1620, is the same day as Veterans' Day.The Mayflower Compact came into being and has been called the
first Constitution of the United States!

This is a very old postcard from Provincetown, Mass. The very place the Mayflower Compact, our first body politic, was signed!
This post card was published by the Mayflower Sales Company, Provincetown Ma, who went out of business many years ago.
It is a high quality card with a linen textured front.

These postcards were found 13 years ago in the attic of an old Commercial St building where they had been stored and forgotten for years!

A true collector's item! A limited supply!
